It is the largest international airport in Latin America, with three runways forming an A-shape. Additional airports include the Comandante Armando Tola International Airport that caters to local and foreign visitors to El Calafate, the home of spectacular glaciers like Upsala and Mayo. Second is the Cataratas del Iguazu International Airport that caters to visitors to Puerto Iguazu, the location of the famous Iguazu Falls. Last is the Ushuaia-Malvinas Argentinas International Airport, considered to be the gateway to the most remote city in the world.

Airlines

Argentina's flagship carrier is Aerolineas Argentina, a Spanish-owned company. It has excellent service but can be a little bit pricey for foreign visitors. LAN Argentina is an affiliate of the more famous LAN Chile. It is based in Argentina and has ten Airbus A320-200 and three Boeing 767-300ER. The other airline is the Lineas Aereas Del Estado or LADE, based in Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina. It is one of the first airlines in the world to possess a Boeing 707.
