Getting to t_tag

The two Latin airlines that can get you to Argentina are LAN Chile and Aerolineas Argentina. LAN Chile offers cheaper rates since it does not apply additional cost for being a foreign visitor in Argentina. On the other hand, Aerolineas offers a direct flight from New York to Buenos Aires, the country's capital. However, the cheapest way to go there directly is on American Airlines. A little more expense and a direct flight, or a lower fare with an indirect flight: the tough choice for today's travel.

Airports

The main airport was formerly named after General Juan Pistarini. This airport is now called Ezeiza International Airport and is located in Ezeiza City, Buenos Aires. It is the largest international airport in Latin America, with three runways forming an A-shape. Additional airports include the Comandante Armando Tola International Airport that caters to local and foreign visitors to El Calafate, the home of spectacular glaciers like Upsala and Mayo. Second is the Cataratas del Iguazu International Airport that caters to visitors to Puerto Iguazu, the location of the famous Iguazu Falls. Last is the Ushuaia-Malvinas Argentinas International Airport, considered to be the gateway to the most remote city in the world.

Airlines

Argentina's flagship carrier is Aerolineas Argentina, a Spanish-owned company. It has excellent service but can be a little bit pricey for foreign visitors. LAN Argentina is an affiliate of the more famous LAN Chile. It is based in Argentina and has ten Airbus A320-200 and three Boeing 767-300ER. The other airline is the Lineas Aereas Del Estado or LADE, based in Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina. It is one of the first airlines in the world to possess a Boeing 707.

Other Money-Saving Tips

All inclusive travel packages can save you money on airfare, hotels, and even meals. In Argentina it is smart to make sure you have coins for the public transportation.

In Closing

Argentina is a very beautiful country to explore with beautiful attractions, delicious cuisine, and rich culture. Come prepared to eat well and enjoy the hospitality of the largest country in South America.
