Armenia Visa
A visa to Armenia is required for all nationalities wishing to visit the country, except for those from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz, Moldova, Montenegro, Russian Federation, Serbia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. Visas can be obtained from the Consular Section of the Armenian Embassy in Washington, D.C., or the Consulate General in Los Angeles.
There are six types Armenia Visa: Transit visas, Single Entry visas, Multiple Entry visas, and Diplomatic and Official visas.
Transit visas can either be single or multiple entries and are issued to those whose stay in Armenia is associated with other travel plans going to and from another country. Transit visas allow visitors to stay up to three days only.
Single Entry visas are given to travelers wishing to stay in Armenia for 21 to 120 days, while Multiple Entry visas allow visitors to stay from 60 to 120 days.
Diplomatic and Official visas are granted free of charge and are only issued with accompanying official documents like a Diplomatic Note.
Official visitors who have travel invitations from a qualified entity in Armenia should ensure that the invitation document has been verified at the Consular Department of the Armenian Foreign Ministry. For private travelers or those on a visitor"s visa, invitation documents should be verified at the Passport and Visa Department of the Police Service in Yerevan.
For travelers under the age of 18, visas are free of charge. You only have to pay for shipping charges.
