The Fiji Islands in the South Pacific await the adventurous traveler. With over 333 islands, this destination is packed with countless attractions like the 200-thatch roof Navala Village and the Yasawa Islands.
United States citizens may be issued visitor/tourist visas upon arrival in Fiji. Tourist visas are valid for four months, and may be extended up to six months on condition that you possess a passport valid for three months beyond your intended stay, a return ticket, and proof of sufficient funds to finance your stay in Fiji. Yachts wishing to call at the Lau group of islands have to secure special permission at the first port of entry into Fiji. Fijian visas may be extended on application to the Department of Immigration in Suva, Nadi, or Lautoka.
American citizens who plan to visit Fiji for business purposes are required to obtain a business visa prior to arrival. Business visas may be issued for a maximum stay of 120 days in Fiji. Your application for business visa should be accompanied by your original signed passport with at least six months remaining validity, a copy of your Green Card or other proof of legal status in the United States, copy of round trip tickets or confirmed travel itinerary, police report or certificate of good conduct issued by your local police station, and a letter from your host or contact person/company in Fiji.
Student, employment, or permanent resident visas may be issued upon application.
