Solomon Islands Visa
Citizens of most western countries do not need a visa to
enter Solomon Islands. However, visitors wishing to enter the territory need to have a passport that is valid for at least 6 months upon entering the country. Visitors must also have a valid return ticket and must be able to show that he or she has sufficient funds to support his /her
stay in Solomon Islands
. If the visitor is flying out to another country other than his/ her country of residence, he/she must be able to show a valid visa (if required) to enter that country.

Those that require prior approval from Solomon Islands" Director of Immigration can apply for an entry visa by emailing immigration@commerce.gov.sb, or by writing and mailing it to: P.O. Box G26, Honiara, Solomon Islands.
Once granted a visa or permit, tourists are allowed a period of three months that can be used within a year. Entry permits can also be extended to a maximum period of three months upon the provision of substantial justification for the extension, as well as, a filled-up application form, photograph, and fee to the proper authorities.
