Syria Visa
If you want to visit the beautiful
land of Syria
and experience this historical paradise, you will first need to obtain a Syrian visa. This is required of all countries, but if your country does not have an embassy a visa you may obtain one at the border. However, if there is evidence of a visit to Israel you will be denied a visa. An itinerary will be checked upon application for a Syrian visa, and a visit to Israel must not be intended even after exit from the country.
A Syrian visa is valid for up to three months upon issuance, and visitors may stay a maximum of 30 days. The types of visas available to U.S. citizens are tourist single, tourist double, business single, and business double.
For U.S. citizens traveling to Syria
on business, these are the requirements: reference name or name of
visiting firm in Syria; explanation on the nature of business; length of intended stay; and a guarantee of financial responsibility, all of which must be provided on company letterhead.
