Tuvalu Visa
Citizens of the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, United States, and member countries of the European Union are not required to have a visa to enter Tuvalu. However, they need to show a passport valid for a minimum of six months upon their arrival in Tuvalu. They also need to show a return ticket to their country of origin or a ticket to the next country of destination.
Visitors from the abovementioned countries are allowed to stay in Tuvalu for up to 90 days. Visa extensions may be obtained from the following: British Consulate, Principal Immigration Officer, Chief of Police office, Tuvalu, and Funafuti, and can be as long as 3 months when granted.
Nationals of other countries need to apply for a visa in person at the embassy or consulate of Tuvalu in their country of residence. If no consulate of embassy in their country is present, they can apply in Tuvalu Consulate or Embassy in a neighboring country that covers the jurisdiction of their country of residence. Application fees may vary and may depend on where the application was submitted.
All visitors are required to show proof of sufficient funds to cover the duration of their stay in Tuvalu, an onward ticket, accommodation bookings, and a passport valid for a minimum of six months. Extensions can be obtained from the same offices as mentioned above.
