Vieques is served by Antonio Rivera Rodriguez Airport (VQS), a small airport that accepts only private, propelled aircraft and helicopters. This airport allows domestic air travel only although plans are underway to allow some international flight traffic. International flights are served by Isla Grande Airport (SIG) and Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU). Ferry service to and from Vieques is available year-round as is charter air service and private boat rentals. Taxi service and car rentals are available at Antonio Rivera Rodriguez Airport.
