Amman is served mainly by the Queen Alia International Airport (AMM). The airport is situated 32 km from the city of Jordan. It handles over five million passengers a year. A new terminal is under construction for the expected traffic of nine million passengers a year. Queen Alia Airport is the hub for Royal Jordan Airlines, Jazeera Airways, Gulf Air, and Jordan Aviation. These airlines are international carriers and can connect you to almost any major city in the world.
