Durban Airport (DUR) is one of the busiest airports in South Africa. The airport served four and a half million passengers last year, and serves as a major domestic hub, as well as offering international flights to Mauritius, Mozambique, and - from October 2009 - Dubai. Due to projected growth forecast for DUR, a new airport - King Shaka International - is projected to open in time for the World Cup in 2010.
