Kiruna Airport (KRN), the northernmost airport in Sweden, is nine km away from the core of the city, taking about five minutes travel if you are taking a taxi. Buses, which are cheaper than taxi, are only available during certain times of the year, particularly during summer. Many hotels have private buses for their clients waiting at the airport.
