The Surat Thani Airport (URT) is found in the Phunphin district, approximately 21 km west of the Surat Thani province in Thailand. With a single paved runway, the Surat Thani Airport is home to the Royal Thai Air Force. It is also a public commercial airport that serves over 300,000 passengers yearly. From the airport, one can easily get to the other parts of Surat Thani via public transportation or car rental.
