Travel Guide to Adelaide
Airports Serving Adelaide, Australia
Adelaide Airport (AAL) is the fifth busiest airport in all of Australia. Handling both domestic and international passenger traffic, Adelaide was named the world's second-best international airport after a brand new dual terminal was opened in 2005. Complete with a Children's Playroom and Prayer Room, passengers are treated to the best of amenities. A retail mall offers up everything from boots, to chocolate, to gourmet foods and wines, while you can choose from a variety of bars and cafes to get a drink or something to eat between flights. Ground transport includes self-drive, taxis, hire cars (Aussie for rental cars) and limos. The Skylink Airport Shuttle also has regularly scheduled service to the interstate railway terminal and to numerous area hotels. The Adelaide Airport Flyer provides minibus transfer service to many of the suburbs and outlying areas.
