Cairns International Airport (CNS) is the largest regional airport in Australia and the only airport servicing the city of Cairns. It provides connecting flights to popular regional centers, such as Uluru and Alice Springs. The airport is seven km from the center of Cairns. All major car rental companies service the airport, and taxis are available. A shuttle bus provides services to and from different places in Cairns, including shops and hotels as well as the Northern Beaches, Port Douglas, Palm Cove, and Cape Tribulation.
