Long Beach Airport (LGB), a.k.a. Daughtery Field, is a small airport serving both Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Scheduled flights are somewhat limited, but JetBlue Airways, Horizon Air and US Airways Express, all low-cost carriers, have scheduled flights from major US cities. US Airways flies here from Phoenix, Horizon Air from Portland and Seattle and JetBlue from Austin, Boston, Chicago, Ft. Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Oakland, Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Washington-Dulles and Seattle. Enterprise is the only car rental company having a counter in the terminal, though busses and limo services are available. Carnival Cruise Lines customers often fly to Long Beach to embark on their cruise.
