Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO), also commonly known as "PTIA" or "PTI", is just west of Greensboro, just off Bryan Boulevard, and serves High Point, Greensboro and Winston-Salem. The PART, Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation, has busses that connect to Winston-Salem, High Point and Greensboro. Reservations must be made in advance for both directions though, so be sure to mark that on your 'to-do' list. Hotel/Motel Shuttles from numerous hotels are available. Call your hotel directly to find out if they have a regular shuttle or if you need to call ahead to schedule a pick-up. Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, National, Thrifty/Dollar, and Triangle rental car agencies are all options for transportation in and around the area.
