The Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) serves around 32 million passengers every year, making it 25th in terms international airline operations in the world and 18th in terms of the busiest airports in the United States. The locals of Seattle popularly know the airport as Sea-Tac. Taxis, door-to-door shuttle services, busses and rental cars are currently available for transport from the airport. Future plans are to link Seattle's Central Link light rail line to the airport. This improvement is expected to be complete by December 2009. Alamo, Avis, Budget, Hertz, and National all have rental counters and car pick-up at the airport. Advantage, Dollar, Enterprise, and Thrifty all have information counters at the airport, but shuttles will take you to the off-airport rental location. Century/Rent Rite, Fox, and U Save have off-site counters and cars.
